We'll begin this week by role playing SNCC members focusing on the key debates within organization that drove the movement forward in the South. Afterwards, we'll take a look at the 1963 March on Washington. A bottom-up history of this demonstration allows us to get a better picture of the Civil Rights Movement that challenges much of the traditional narrative that told the story from the perspective of a few leaders on the stage.
