For the next two weeks we'll be wrapping up our unit on "Who Freed the Slaves?" and writing our essay. The first week we'll host a socratic seminar on the question to deepen our understanding and weigh different perspectives and we'll create our claim and discuss different ways to introduce an essay. The next week will be mostly independent time to write your essay with some brief workshops to support your writing. At the end of the week we'll complete an end-of-unit evaluation. Your essay is due January 17th!
