This week we'll be starting our next major unit centered around the question: "Who Freed the Slaves?" We'll start this week with a close examination of excerpts from Abraham Lincoln's First Inaugural Address and then we'll discuss pre-civil war resistance of the enslaved and how that might have led to the Civil War. In addition to your weekly packets, for homework, you'll start pulling out evidence into your graphic organizer for your end of the unit essay.
